IMPORTANT: This is not a holiday, this is a challenging adventure. By signing below, you confirm that you understand and accept the nature of the challenge you are undertaking.

The Trip

The Paris Dakar Challenge is a demanding, real-world motorcycle expedition, sometimes travelling across remote terrain. At times it will test your resilience, confidence, and resourcefulness. While supported, it is not escorted at every stage — and things may go wrong. That is part of the experience.

You may face:

• Discomfort, fatigue, and long days of travel
• Rough, broken, or off-road surfaces
• Extreme heat, cold, or adverse weather
• Bureaucratic delays, detours, or changes to the plan
• Unexpected changes in road or trail conditions, including hazards not previously identified
• Deviations from the expected route due to terrain, safety, or navigation decisions
• Limited access to medical care or replacement vehicles
• Mechanical failures, navigational errors, or physical strain
• Requests to adapt quickly, take initiative, or operate outside your comfort zone

Acknowledgement

By joining this expedition, you accept:

• That hazards, challenges, and problems are a core part of the experience
• That the Tour Organiser will do its best to support you, but cannot eliminate all risk
• That your safety and decision-making are your own responsibility at all times
• That discomfort, uncertainty, and the unexpected are not grounds for complaint or refund

Liability Waiver

You hereby release and discharge Paris Dakar Challenge Ltd, its directors, staff, partners, and agents from any liability, claims, or demands arising out of or in connection with participation in the event, except in the case of proven negligence under English law. This waiver does not affect your statutory rights under English law where they apply.
