3 weeks, 7 countries and 4,000 miles on a “bucket-list” adventure from Paris to Dakar. Explore remote trails in the Atlas Mountains, navigate hectic African cities and blast across the vast plains of the Sahara Desert before finally soaking up the sights and sounds of Senegal and The Gambia.
This adventure is achievable for almost anyone, but it will certainly test and challenge you. You don’t need any off-road experience to join this once-in-a-lifetime trip, but you will need determination and a sense of adventure.

Paris Dakar Challenge Recce – 14 days, 4,500 miles
In October 2025, I rode solo from the UK to The Gambia — 4,500 miles in just two weeks — to check every border, road, and route we’ll be using for the 2026 Paris Dakar Challenge. Bike Options
You can ride one of our bikes, or bring your own. We use Honda CRF300 Rally bikes but people have done this trip on anything from 250cc trail bikes up to the big BMW GSs.
